Ambos: Concept Design

When Barrel Aged Management approached me to develop a concept for their new Pinxos bar in Brooklyn headed by chef James Beard award winning Preston Clark, we knew we wanted a visual solution that felt polished an modern, but still had the life, warmth and dynamics that reflected the vibrate culture and food of Basque country, home to pinxos.

By juxtaposing the two ambiances of lively/wild and romantic/intimate, we were able to create a visual aesthetic that exuded a playfulness and conveyed the meaning of the restaurant's name, Ambos: the both of us.
